Techpad started in November 2011 as a place to write down opinions about tech news before I forgot I had them. It's stayed that way since — no editorial calendar, no content strategy, just posts whenever something's worth 700 words.
Three loose categories, more for my own sanity than yours:
- Tech News — reactions to whatever actually happened, usually with a smaller or more personal angle than the big headline.
- Tutorials — the stuff I had to figure out myself and don't want to re-figure out later.
- Personal — tech-adjacent life stuff. Gadgets, backups, the eternal cable drawer.
